Domestic Trust Industry Efficiency Evaluation And Analysis Of Influencing Factors

Trust industry has experienced explosive growth since 2008 and quickly became one of the "four pillars" of domestic financial sector. But financial research products both at home and abroad have been focused on the banking sector while lacking concern for the trust industry. Therefore, this paper first discusses the efficiency of domestic trust companies and then employs an empirical study on the primary factors enhancing or constraining the operation and expansion of domestic trust industry.First, this paper discusses the connotation of trust companies, compares and analyzes the efficiency measure difference between parametric methods and non-parametric methods, providing the mathematical function of trust efficiency evaluation later. This paper successively utilizes SFA and SE-DEA approach to conduct empirical analysis.Moreover, in order to investigate factors that impact domestic trust industry chronically and their influencing power, we regress the efficiency values of domestic trust companies on the profitability level, expansion ability, cost control ability and asset scale based on Tobit model.Finally, we summarize the main conclusions of this study and discuss further research prospects on our follow-up work.
