On the basis of the used motor vehicle assessment method, the paper chooses Production Costs Method and Current Market Price Method as the common methods of used motor vehicle assessment and improves it.The paper summaries common models and sales prices of the current market of used motor vehicle market through the statistical information, thus according to this reference, as well as information on their trading price provided, it can be conveniently and quickly use Current Market Price Method to assess and price. In the Production Costs Method, it analyzes the condition of residue ratio and considers that can assess by means of parts appraisal method and thousand point examination law to those vehicles which have more production costs.
