| With the increase of car production and sales, car market competition is more and more intense. The prices continue to decline, the profits from the vehicles are also declining. Customers’ order response time, logistics distribution service quality and other aspects of the requirements are also getting higher. Whether automobile manufacturers can gain a firm foothold in today’s market competition, and constantly expand the market share, improving the efficiency of delivery of parts is essential. With high efficiency of production parts distribution, production will be carried out smoothly according to the plan, and products can quickly arrived at the customer. Therefore, how to improve the efficiency of parts feeding and reduce labor, equipment and other costs has become the main problem for the automotive industry enterprises.A company named DB is the research background, and distributing status of the company is analyzed. The main problems are unbalanced delivery, long waiting time for unloading vehicles, bad management of line buffer. Because they directly take the same approach to all parts with centralized distribution. Problems caused by the imperfect material classification are pointed out, and material classification are also presented, namely the general rate, packing size and parts number for a car. Based on the original distribution mode kitting, kanban, line stocking, due to material classification, distribution rules of this three modes also change. Considering the material classification and then describe four distribution strategy, the parts are redistributed. At last, this thesis constructs the labor cost, machine cost, WIP holding cost model as the targets, then four strategies and company’s original operating results are calculated and compared. Finally,we get a better strategy than the current strategy of DB company, which proves the effectiveness of the distribution of material classification. |
