In different areas of our country,we have different political,economic and cultural background.So farmer vocational education(FVE)is different.In this article,I,taking Laiyuan County,Heibei province as an example,only research FVE in poor mountainous areas.Through on-the-spot investigations,I analyze problems in FVE in poor mountainous areas,and propose corresponding ideas and solutions,expecting benefits in development of FVE in poor mountainous areas of our country.The first part is a main introduction to the research situation,purpose,significance,methods,techniques and routes,economic and cultural,home and abroad.I set the research in the typical poor mountainous areas,taking Laiyuan County,Hebei Province as an example,and adopt the methods of investigation and study,document research,qualitative analysis,experience summary,experiment research etc,to make analyses,to seek new educational ideas,to improve farmers’qualities,and to support the economic development in poor mountainous areas.The second part is mainly about analyses and origins of farmers’ present qualities in poor mountainous areas.The third part is mainly about statistic analyses of the questionnaires from 2000 households out of the 285 villages throughout the 17 towns in Laiyuan County.These three aspects are analyzed:basic conditions of the investigated objects,vocational education situations,and vocational education demands.The fourth part is an analysis about the problems in FVE in poor mountainous areas according to government,farmers themselves and training agencies.The fifth part is mainly about the concepts for FVE in poor mountainous areas:focusing on the people,lifelong education,and learning community.The ideas and countermeasures for FVE in poor mountainous areas are:founding legal guarantee system,strengthening administrative interference,ensuring investment,realizing industrial improvement in rural mountainous areas as soon as possible,establishing healthful educational view,reforming the education contents,improving teaching methods of FVE,innovative training ways,exploring sustainable development patterns,setting up an information platform for FVE.In brief,by researching FVE in poor mountainous areas in this article,I expect to lay the foundation for FVE in poor mountainous areas of our country,and propose scientific and practical countermeasures.
