Research On Government Procurement Optimization Based On Supply Chain Theory

Government procurement is a new creation in China, which has been running over 10 years, achieving great success, yet causing many problems as well, such as procurement of extraordinary high price, procurement of luxury goods, and procurement of unqualified goods, and other negative news. The news almost labelled the government procurement with an impression of high price, bad quality and low efficiency, which greatly damaged the image of government procurement, and also affected the credibility of the government. Thus, realizing the problem within goverment procurement and striving to solve it will be of benefit to find efficient contradictions settlements and scientific solutions step by step. Those theories and practices are of profound values for goverment procurement, as well as other aspects of China's economic society.The paper reviews the development and basic theories of government procurement, combines it with the fruits of newest research both in China and abroad, adopts many a researching approach, analyzes the status quo of goverment procurement supply chain, systmatically summarizes the problems lying in goverment procurement main chain and supply chain.
