| Economic benefits is the main measure of health for industrial development, and also the ultimate sign of industry competition. Especially for the electronic information manufacturing industry with the characteristics of intensive knowledge and capital, maintaining high economic benefits is favorable for enterprises to increase technology investment, expand the production scale, and make economies of scale,which finally makes enterprise in a favorable competitive position in the fierce market. In recent 10 years, with the opportunities of western development and the transfer of global electronic information industry, the electronic information manufacturing industry of Sichuan Province has been rapidly promoted in industrial scale, fixed asset investment and the amount of exports, etc. and gradually improved in industrial chain, which has become the dominant industry of the whole province. The electronic information manufacturing industry has contributed to over 10% of the total industrial output value of Sichuan, led to a large number of relevant industries playing a radiation role, created a lot of jobs, and promoted the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure in Sichuan Province. At the same time we should also be aware of that, the electronic information manufacturing industry in Sichuan, still at the low end of the industrial chain, has the characteristics of low development level and low added value of products. It is dominated by foreign leading enterprises and the competitiveness of local enterprises is weak. In the future, when attracting multinational giants in Sichuan actively, we should also cultivate the local companies actively to increase the content of product technology and added value, improve the economic benefits of enterprise continuously, and enhance the competitiveness of the electronic information manufacturing industry at the same time.This paper, which uses principal component analysis, comparative analysis and other methods, gives a comprehensive measure of economic situation of electronic information manufacturing industry in Sichuan Province by the application of quantitative evaluation and analysis through the three dimensions of inter-area, inter-industry and Intra-industry. Firstly, by choosing the economic benefits of the electronic information industry of Jiangsu, Guangdong, Shanghai, Sichuan and other 10 provinces and cities in our country, which develop better in the electronic information industry, for quantitative analysis, we find that the integral development level of electronic and information manufacturing industry in Sichuan is not high by contrast. The economic benefits ranks seventh in the selection of 10 provinces, still having a large gap with Chongqing, Shandong, Shanghai and other areas. Secondly, by the quantitative analysis of eight major advantage of the economic benefits of industry in Sichuan Province, we find electronic information manufacturing industry rank number two in Sichuan.The economic benefits of it has advantage in the other traditional industry. Finally, this paper analyzes the main financial indicators of listed companies of the electronic information manufacturing industry in Sichuan, compares the differences of economic benefits between domestic listed companies and foreign companies, finds that the economic benefits level of local listed companies of electronic information manufacturing industry in Sichuan is not only lower than the foreign capital enterprises, but also lower than the domestic industry average. All in all, the electronic information manufacturing industry in Sichuan has made a great development in recent years, but the overall economic level is still low. In the future, we should focus on improving the quality of industrial development, promote the enterprise to the high-end of industrial chain by enhancing the independent innovation abilities of local enterprises, constantly improve the enterprise economic benefits, and promote the healthy development of the industry. |
