The Evaluation On Competitiveness Of Regional Electronic Commerce Industry Based On PCA-DEA Model

Driven by the Internet, The electronic commerce has gradually become an indispensable part of our daily lives. Along with the construction of the network infrastructure and a gradual increase of the number of Internet users, the environment of the network is continually improved, so the network trade has increasingly showed its strong market potential and economic benefits.In twenty-first Century, with the growing maturity of network technology, the effective operation of enterprises increasingly rely on electronic commerce, it can be said that it has formed a new mode of economic operation. In this operating mode, revolutionary change is bound to society, the philosophy and the organization of the enterprise will radically change, electronic commerce will gradually become the mainstream way of economic operation, it will lead the direction of future trading patterns. Thus, the study of the regional evaluation of the competitiveness of the electronic commerce industry to improve its competitiveness, and promoting regional economic development is of great practical significance.At first, this paper illustrates the basic theory of industrial competitiveness and industry competitive analysis model at home and abroad, then fully consider the characteristics of e-commerce industry itself, the paper analyze the factors which affecting the competitiveness of the regional e-commerce industry from the following four points: the economic environment, infrastructure, human resources, the government and the support system. On this basis, the evaluation index system of electronic commerce industry competitiveness of provinces and cities has been constructed, it is divided into two categories:input index and output index. Then, according to the index system and combining the authoritative data, the PCA-DEA model is established, the model first use main components analysis method to elect the outputs and the inputs main components indicators, through calculation get weight constraint cone, then use the DEA method with constraints to obtain comprehensive efficiency value, which represents the competitiveness,18 provinces and cities are ranked according to the sorting result for the research of e-commerce industry competitiveness.At last, combining the evaluation of electronic commerce industry competitiveness factor analysis and model results, suggestions of policy are put forward to hope that the area of electronic commerce development in our country can give full consideration to the regional reality, so these provinces and cities can improve its industrial competitiveness with targeted suggestion.
