Compared with the labor services provided by traditional producer services, high-tech service industry provided knowledge-based services to customers, which gradually developed into the high-end part of the modern service industry. High-tech service industry was characterized by high technical content, strong innovation, and wide radiation, which is becoming a new economic growth point in China. In recent years, the development of high-tech service industry follows in the footsteps of the rapid development of high-tech industry, whose value chain gradually extended and expanded to the service business. Under the background of economic globalization, some high-tech service enterprises from China, even from abroad began to seek and integrate innovation resources in the global scope, in order to get the competitive advantage in the fierce market competition. Through the form of service outsourcing, the form of industrial transfer etc., high-tech service enterprises began to seek cooperative innovation by building transnational strategic alliance. In the first part of this study, it introduced the background, purpose and significance of this study, including the content of the situation and problem of Chinese high-tech service industry. On the basis of the literature review, the second part of this study summarized the status quo of the research on transnational strategic alliance and the research on independent innovation capability. It put forward the theoretical framework and basic hypothesis about the independent innovation in high-tech service enterprises based on transnational strategic alliance. The third part of this study was the empirical research of Chinese high-tech service enterprises. The statistical software SPSS and structural equation software Lisrel were applied to analyze the data collected from 262 valid questionnaires. The fourth part of this study constructed the mediating effect model of resource share and network relationship based on transnational strategic alliance, the moderating effect model based on partner independence of transnational strategic alliance, and the hierarchical linear model based on the frequency and term of cooperation of transnational strategic alliance. Through the model analysis, this study drew the conclusions as follow: the innovation capability of high-tech service enterprises based on transnational strategic alliance had a significant positive effect on new product market performance; the resource share and network relationship within the transnational strategic alliance had a mediating effect on the positive effect mentioned above; partner independence of transnational strategic alliance had a positive moderating effect on the relationships between the innovation capability of high-tech service enterprises and the resource share among the strategic alliance; the frequency of the transnational strategic alliance projects would enhance the positive effect between the innovation capability and new product market performance; the term of the transnational strategic alliance projects would enhance the positive effect between the resource share and the new product market performance, while the frequency of the transnational strategic alliance projects would weaken the relationship between the resource share and new product market performance. In the fifth part, the study propounded five strategies to enhance the independent innovation capability and the performance of high-tech service industry based on transnational strategic alliance in the city of Wuhan. Finally, the sixth part pointed out some shortages of the research and some problems to be solved in the future research.
