An Empirical Study Of The Willingness To Use Literature Management Tools Based On The Perspective Of Enabling Capabilities

The writing of scientific papers is a complex systematic project.Before writing,we often need to retrieve,read and organize a large number of relevant scientific and technological literature;we also need to analyze and refer to some references with certain norms in the writing process;we should also consider the selection of appropriate publications to contribute and publish after the completion of the paper.It is a difficult problem for many researchers to solve the problems of the standardization of papers and the acquisition,management and automatic formatting of references.The functions of document management tools,such as retrieval,collection,management,import and export,have played an important role in the management of documents and the writing of papers.Researchers,who use the document management tools to effectively manage and use the massive literature,can save more time and energy for scientific research work.Document management tools provide a lot of convenience for researchers,and has become an effective assistant of academic research,knowledge management.Therefore,researchers should pay attention to document management tools and learn how to use them.The user’s intention to use the document management tools is affected by many factors,so the research on the influencing factors of user’s intention to use the document management tools has certain theoretical and practical value.According to the theoretical framework of Wixom&Todd model and Grgecic et al.model,combining with the user’s characteristics of document management tools in our country,we built a model of factors influencing Document Management Tools use intention from the perspective of affordance.The 106 sample data was collected by questionnaire,and the partial least squares(PLS)structural equation model was used to do the empirical research.The structural equation modeling technique was used to evaluate influencing factors and assumptions relationship and confirmatory factor analysis was performed to examine the reliability and validity of the measurement model through the questionnaire data.And it confirmed the variable relationship of theory assumptions and decomposed effects between variables.The empirical results indicate that functional affordances have positive influence on information quality of document management tools,and have negative influence on its system quality;the information quality and system quality of document management tools have positive influence on its information satisfaction and system satisfaction;the system satisfaction has positive influence on information satisfaction of document management tools;both information satisfaction and system satisfaction have positive influence on user intention to use document management tools.
