Network public opinion is a specific form and network appearance of social public opinion.Due to the rapid development of the technologies toward Internet,computer and low-cost network communication etc.,network public opinions have begun to constantly infiltrate into human life,meanwhile,the national politics,economics and culture are largely influenced.The network information quickly presents on diversification,falsity,transmissibility and universality.With the development of mobile terminals and computer technology,a large amount of information flooded into the Internet platform,people can follow the thread,comment,publish speech and so on,by the way to express their views and emotions for the incident,so people involved in the hot event of the comments and dissemination of enthusiasm increasingly high.Due to the divergent nature of the network public opinion,the spread of a wide range of subjectivity and other characteristics and the concept of large data put forward,making the network environment under the monitoring of public opinion is facing a brutal predicament,and for public opinion in the network data environment Monitoring more research value.Under the environment of big data,this paper expounds the theoretical knowledge of public opinion and its characteristics,the spread of public opinion,Social Network Analysis and Life Cycle Theory.Secondly,analyze the public opinion cases from two aspects of the media and weibo with data in big data platform,found that the media and weibo influence the development of public opinion from two different angles.Then,the public opinion social network is established by using the SNA method,and analyzes the characteristics of the public opinion spreading overall network.Combined with the life cycle theory to quantify the stage of public opinion,social networks are established at each stage,and analyze the results.The results show that:the characteristics of different stages of public opinion are different,with different rules of transmission.Finally,combined with the public opinion case analysis and the characteristics of large data,the paper finds out the problems of public opinion monitoring,such as public opinion monitoring work management consciousness behind;public opinion processing is not timely;monitoring technology is not mature;the uncontrollability of public opinion increasing and the media lack of social responsibility,and so on.Combining with the characteristics of big data,the author puts forward the following suggestions from the national,social and personal levels:to change the traditional thinking,to improve the monitoring technology,to establish the perfect public opinion monitoring system;to strengthen the guidance and supervision of social media;to improve the personal qualities of Netizens,to encourage people to take the initiative Participation in public opinion monitoring work and so on.The above all are recommendations of public opinion monitoring under the new environment.
