Theoretical And Applied Research On Decision Support Systems For Smart Campuses

With the development of Internet technology,University Digital Campus,University information system has been already matured.The focus of people's attention is no longer merely the convenience and availability of information systems.Current process of College information is from "Digital Campus" to a"Wisdom Campus".The data integration and application integration of Digital Campus in the past have failed to meet the information needs of the times.In the Internet of Things,big data technology,Wisdom Campus has become the theme of today's campus construction.As an innovation in the construction of the Wisdom Campus,the Decision Support System can provide Decision Support for managers,teachers and students with the "Wisdom" of Digital Campus.The campus card system produced a large rich and huge data,under the technology of Internet of Things,RFID,such as student's grade,surfing records,purchase records and so on.And this data is closely related to students' study and life.This data produces of Digital campus is a fortune in the age of Big Data.How to mine the hidden information hidden behind of the data,improve data utilization,and provide Decision Support for people have become an urgent need for Wisdom Campus construction and Decision Support System.On the background of Wisdom Campus construction,this paper carry out some experiments with the theory and technology research situation based on our school card records of the year 2014.With the platform of technology,using the oracle database to manage the data and using Java language as the basic programming language to mine and analysis on a visual platform.Firstly,this paper discussed the theory of Wisdom Campus and the Decision Support System,and then introduced how to deal with and mine the data which comes from Digital Campus,such as Data warehouse,Data mining and visualization.After that,the paper introduced requirement and architectural design of the system.In the end,utilizing this platform to carry out some analysis and application case with the students' smart card which are different from time,place and so on.It puts forward the conjecture and verification on the model of the poor student certification in the last.This Decision Support System with smart card carried out experiment based on the database of students' card.Some technologies of a decision support system that is based on data warehouse are used.The experiment mainly includes:Data collection and preprocessing,the Design and implementation of data visualization platform,Data mining and analysis and experimental results support.
