Wireless sensor network(WSN)is a kind of communication network make up of sensor nodes deployed in the monitoring area through self-organization.it can monitor in real time, collect the information of environment or monitoring object, and process the data communication, transmit to the administrative user through wireless protocol.Wireless sensor network has low economic cost and flexible network topology,it is widely used in many fields such as military and national defense, transportation system, emergency rescue and medical health service. The existing algorithms are mostly to study how to allocate the residual energy or energy consumption of the sensor nodes, instead of solving the impact of random changes of the data frame time slot allocation to the sensor nodes, the randomness will lead to the energy of the sensor nodes is unstable and impact the throughput and access latency of the network. Therefore, how to improve throughput of network and reduce the network access latency,so that the entire network continue to work efficiently is the key point of wireless sensor networks. With the gradual development of wireless sensor networks,a variety of new research algorithms appear constantly,so that the entire network continues to work efficiently.Based on the study of model-based frame scheduling algorithm(MFS)and asymptotically optimal back off algorithm(AOB),An adaptive back off tuning Medium Access Control algorithm(ABOTMAC)is proposed, the algorithm proposed each node uses a fixed transmission attempt rate and tunes its back off window size dynamically based on the current network status, and thus tunes the slot of the successful transmission of a frame length.Aiming at the classical algorithm of frame slot allocation in wireless sensor network,MFS algorithm and AOB algorithm, further study of its functional mechanism,Respectively, find out network access latency and network throughput problems when the algorithm is running in the network. In this paper, the network throughput and network access latency of MFS algorithm,AOB algorithm and ABOTMAC algorithm are analyzed theoretically,The contradictory relationship between network throughput and network access latency is obtained through the derivation of mathematical theory, which makes the algorithm is optimized on the aspects of network throughput and network access latency, and the network throughput and the network access latency of these three algorithms is further compared through Matlab simulation. The simulation results show that the improved ABOTMAC algorithm is considered more comprehensively in the processing of short inter-frame space time, distributed inter-frame space time, extended inter-frame space time than the MFS algorithm and the AOB algorithm, and Compared with the MFS algorithm and AOB algorithm, the ABOTMAC algorithm greatly improves the network throughput and network access latency, and shows higher network throughput and lower network access latency.
