The signal source as an important component of the test and measurement system is very important for electronic instruments.Direct Digital Synthesis(DDS)is a new generation of frequency synthesis technology,which has high resolution frequency,fast conversion,conversion phase continuous,and all-digital easy integration and so on.With the continuous development of DDS technology,it has been widely used in advanced electronic systems such as communication,scientific research,navigation,radar,remote telemetry and electronic warfare.This thesis introduced the purpose of the research,and the present situation of the development of signal source both at home and abroad.By comparing the working principle of various frequency synthesis techniques,analyzing their advantages and disadvantages,this thesis has developed the direct digital frequency synthesis technology Signal source of the program.In this thesis,the overall design scheme of signal source system was expounded.The micro-controller CY7C68013 A was chosen as the control module,which integrated a high-speed USB2.0 transceiver,used to achieve high-speed communication between the AD9914 and the computer.By comparing the characteristics of different types of DDS chips,the AD9914 chip was selected as the frequency synthesizer for the hardware design of the signal source,the smaller reference clock signal was sent to the DDS,and the multiplier of the PLL multiplier inside the DDS chip was used frequency mode to achieve high frequency signal output.The design of the signal source hardware was divided into the following modules: frequency synthesis module,control module,clock synthesis module,power module and conditioning output module.By analyzing the test results,the design of the frequency,power,output waveform and other test results met the system requirements,using the oscilloscope,spectrum analyzer and other instruments to test the output of the signal source.
