In recent years,wireless sensor network has been given extensive attention and research.It is characterized with large scale,multi-hop transmission,many-to-one communication and limited cache.It can easily cause network congestion which increasing network latency and packet loss.Simultaneously,network congestion reduces throughput and the overall performance of the network.In order to solve the problem of wireless sensor network congestion,this paper has got on some studies.Firstly,the maximum transmission capacity of wireless sensor network was studied.It was impossible to solve the network congestion by suppressing the data transmission rate of the upstream nodes.What's more,this paper proposed an improved cooperative path congestion control algorithm based on multi-attribute decision-making theory.In this algorithm,congestion factor,residual energy,the distance from the next hop node to the straight line between the source node and the sink node,the data flow rate of the adjacent node,the distance to the congestion point,and the channel occupancy rate of the candidate nodes were considered synthetically to choose the suitable candidate node.They were used to establish a collaborative path to alleviate network congestion.Secondly,the simulation was carried out by MATLAB simulation platform.It turned out that the proposed algorithm had good performances in network throughput,network delay and network energy consumption,and prolonged the network life cycle well.Finally,the network nodes were designed based on the MSP430F5438A processor,the MSP430F5310 processor and the nRF24L01 RF chip.A collaborative path algorithm platform was developed by Visual Studio 2010.The algorithm was tested and analyzed from the aspects of communication reliability,networking and path building of network nodes.The analysis results showed that the algorithm based on cooperative path had good performances and could guarantee the Quality of Service(QoS)of wireless sensor networks.
