With the rapid development of the Internet, network multimedia services are also getting diversified day by day. Network congestion is becoming the bottleneck which restricts the network development and application. The traditional methods of congestion control are only aimed at the solution of certain single problem. It can't figure out congestion from the whole significant point and can't satisfy the needs of network development. With plenty of analysis and learning of the reference documentation, this paper finds out the key node that congestion can easily happen. Aimed at the key node and key link in the network, a new routing algorithm is given in this paper. So it can balance the network loads and gain a high QoS in network environment.Researching on the technology of Internet QoS Routing is becoming a hot spot. By optimizing the network path, it can decrease the loss rate of data package in the network, increase the throughput capacity and reduce time delay, thereby create a more stable environment for the Internet. This article studies deeply on the congestion control which is based on the key link node, and the main works include the following aspects:1. This paper studies and sums up the reason why network congestion happen, congestion control mechanism and congestion control algorithm. In order to solve the network congestion control problem, a method of network route optimization is proposed. The study extends the function of the network simulation software NS2, and achieves a better effect.2. It intensively studies the effect of the routing optimization to network route selection, and analyses the function of the congestion control, and lays the theoretic foundation of the paper. Meanwhile, based on network congestion analysis, it makes an in-depth discussion at the network congestion path optimization, and provides a condition to realize the network congestion. 3. It intensively analyzes and learns the existing network congestion control algorithm, and proposes a congestion control algorithm which aimed at solving the hot link congestion problem. Once congestion occurs, the key-nodes in the network often result in chain reaction in the whole network. Thereby the whole network will be in a state of collapse. So the algorithm in the paper is aimed at figuring out the problem. The result of simulation presents that the algorithm can realize network congestion control, enhance network performance and achieve a goal of congestion precaution.
