At the December 2004 conference in Toronto, the 3 GPP group presented a new progress in cellular technology, namely LTE,Term,Long,Evolution, and wireless access. In recent years, mobile users demand launched high-speed data services is increasing, coupled with the new wireless broadband access system has been developed very well, such as WiMax,makes the 3G system equipment manufacturers, operators are facing enormous challenges, thus developed from 3 G to LTE is very necessary and urgent. The LTE system has a clear goal and requirement, namely:to reduce the time delay and operation cost of users, the data transmission rate, peak data rate and system capacity to improve and expand coverage, such as uplink and downlink respectively,100Mb/s as 50Mb/s.However,there are two different development directions of TD-LTE and LTE in the FDD-LTE standard itself. From a technical point of view,TD-LTE and FDD-LTE,each one has its own merits. Now more and more people have begun to do away with the phone,a bow family, when people walking in the street, the car,the phone is always the machine does not leave the hand".The switch can not avoid frequent switching, because the performance guarantee of network mobility, avoid the user in the use of the network because of poor perception caused by dropping. Therefore,to ensure the normal switching network is particularly important, the China Telecom of FDD-LTE as an example, analyzes the LTE-FDD wireless network switching method and combined with the analysis of typical switching network optimization case, including coverage of the handover, based on load switch based on load balancing, the same frequency and different frequency switching switch, switching between different systems etc.
