Currently dry eye has become one of the most common diseases of the eye clinic.There are many causes of dry eye disease.The most common reason is the evaporation of dry eye.This kind of dry eye is secreted by the meibomian gland less than normal,so the tears evaporate more faster.Therefore,the distribution of meibomian glands and tear evaporation rate is an important basis for dry eye examination of the current clinical diagnosis.According to the current popularity of dry eye detection methods,the main inspection method is invasive.This check means not only to the inspector to bring some eye damage,while the complex inspection process has also been criticized by a lot of patients and doctors.The main work of this paper is to transform the traditional diagnostic method into the advanced image processing technology.Computer image analysis bring the doctors more convenient,fast and accurate diagnosis.It is also desirable to eliminate the ocular damage to the examiner by non-invasive inspection,which is also simpler and more efficient.This paper mainly addresses two major problems.The first is how to solve the difficult problem through the image processing technology to observe the meibomian gland and how to use the image of the technology to determine the amount of tears.Around the first problem,this paper describes the image enhancement technology to improve the meibomian gland visualization.In the specific shooting light source conditions,we carry out the appropriate details of enhanced processing to the collected image.In this paper,we combine the traditional image enhancement method and propose a more suitable method of meibomian gland image enhancement.This method makes the details of the meibomian gland more prominent and more convenient for doctors in the out-patient diagnosis.The second question is about the secretion of tears.Through the blink of an eye,the tear in the cornea forms the tear film.In this paper,we analyzed tear film tearing situation to reflect the tear secretion and evaporation.In this paper,we use the corneal curvature changes testing by corneal topography to detect tear film rupture.The method of this article,we use Placido rings of light source imaging designed by corneal topography.We identify the locations of rupture of the tear film by identifying ruptures and changes in the annulus.According to these two research questions,combined with image processing technology,this paper proposes a new image processing algorithm which is more suitable for dry eye detection.They are consist of image enhancement algorithms,image registration algorithms,and edge contour tracking algorithms.Based on the above theoretical analysis,these algorithms are simulated experimentally.The experimental results show that the algorithm suitable for dry eye detection.At the same time,in order to adapt to different types of equipment,this paper design different new types of Placido rings of light source.They are based on the traditional Placido rings of planar and related geometric optics.The new structure allows the detection device to fit more closely to the patient's eye and the imaging range is expanded.Finally,the article designs the initial model of the application software of the host computer equipment based on the detection algorithm module and the patient information management.
