The Ultra-wide Bandwidth(UWB)radar has the properties of wide bandwidth,anti-interference,anti-attenuation,low probability of interception(LPI)and so on,which provokes great interests of researchers.The studies of UWB radar in the field of location,especially the indoor location,are becoming more and more attractive.This thesis focuses on the impulse-system-based UWB radar in indoor location,with specific theoretical analysis,system designs and the study of algorithms and experiments of indoor distace and plane localization and track.First,the overseas and domestic research status are invested and introduced,and compare the different systems of localization.Followed by the radar system employed in this thesis and basic analysis are given about the system.Based on the above researches,the indoor distance location is studied,including theoretical analysis and the description of principles,eventually verifying the validity of the theory with the results of signal processing using measured data.The procedures of signal processing are as follows:First,applying moving target detection and using peak detecting principle,extracting the frack.And then I use the proposed empirical mode decomposition based on entropy change criterion,the denoising reconstruction of the noisy track is accomplished,deriving the exact moving track and we compare it with the classic one via Matlab and measured data,and the result shows that the mentioned criterion can decrease error and can get accrate trace of the data.After that,Kalman filtering algorithm is employed to complete target tracking.In addition,the indoor plane location is also studied,several classical model and algorithms,such as the Chan algorithm and Fang algorithm,are depicted in detail,and simulations based on Matlab are given.Besides,the IMM algorithm is introduced,using the proposed IMM-based Kalman tracking algorithm,the Matlab simulations of the scene that radar tracks the plane targets are illustrated,proving the excellent property of the algorithm.At the end of the ariticle,I use MFC to realize the usage of the algorithms mentioned before.
