In recent years, the rapid development and obtained great attention in academia and industry cloud computing, it has become a hot topic in the academic field. With a large deployment of cloud data centers, cloud data center makes the number of virtual machine management increasingly large. Virtualization technology is one of the key technology of cloud computing. The mapping relationship between the virtual machine and the physical machine is different, there will be energy utilization efficiency of different virtual machine placement problem, which has become an important issue in cloud data center resource management.This paper on the base of in-depth study and summarize the related fields has been fruitful around by the virtual machine placement problem to reduce the cloud data center energy waste and through the virtual machine migration technology less will be integrated into the virtual machine's servers, mainly carried out the following research work:1, The virtual machine allocation algorithm and exact migration algorithm. The first placement problem of virtual machine model is established, and the initialization of virtual machine placement problem is defined as a packing problem. And then put forward the precise allocation algorithm for a linear integer programming corresponding, coupled with the migration algorithm, effective and accurate on a virtual machine through the integration, to reduce energy consumption. According to the system load, can significantly save energy. At the same time the minimum energy cost and expenses of migration.2, Proposed the ant colony algorithm based on multi-objective optimization. Through the process of CPU loss and memory resources for the server consumption model, the problem of virtual machine is defined as a multi-objective optimization placement problem. Then the ant colony algorithm is improved by the initialization pheromone, the transition probability and pheromone update of the ant colony algorithmBy obtaining a set of non dominated solutions, the algorithm can effectively deal with the potentially large solution space in large scale data centers.3, Using CloudSim simulation environment to simulate the virtual machine placement. The results showed that the virtual machine based on the VMPACO placement strategy improves the efficiency rate and memory resources of the server's CPU process; placement algorithm based on energy aware virtual machine packing problem, through the precise allocation, optimal matching algorithm (BF), precise allocation algorithm and migration algorithm of combined experimental accurately distribute the algorithm and migration algorithm to achieve maximum energy efficiency Pressure.
