His viewpoint was less rigorous, this lead to negative impact on his conclusion. Anyway, the way of textual he used to distinguish the twenty-five chapters of Shangshu is an innovative and effective way.Shangshu Kaoyi has been important in the history of distinguish and textual research about the true and false in the arcaic Shangshu version of twenty-five chapters, and has a great influence on other scholars' academic writing, especially Yan Ruoqu and Hui Dong. The Shangshuguwen Shuzheng and Guwenshangshu Kao cited a lot of content from Shangshu Kaoyi, although Yan Ruoqu said he hasn't read Shangshu Kaoyi before he wrote Shuzheng, we can find this is not true after we comparison of three books. All in all, Shangshu Kaoyi has a great influence on other scholars'academaic writing, it's important position in the distinguish and textual research about Shangshu.
