Application Research Of C Language Learning Adaptive Test System

Computerized Adaptive Testing (CAT) is a new kind of testing form which is produced along with the development of computer technology.This kind of test take the project response theory as the foundation establishment question bank, select automatically test according to the testee ability. The traditional written test, the oral exam and on computer's test, have " the same test for multi-person, the defined time" that to determine student's true study level. The CAT extracts test dynamically according to student's answer situation, which needs less time, but enhances the test accuracy and the efficiency resulted to be more scientific.CAT application is promoted very quickly in the developed country and the zone, and CAT has been already used in Entire US nurse the National commission qualifications test, the business management class graduate student entrance examination, the GRE/GMAT English test, Microsoft's MCSE the test and so on. We have few CAT in our country, as the existing CAT has several problems, such as the fundamental research is obsolete in selected topic strategy core algorithm, the mathematical model construction is imperfect, the practice is not big using the influence function. Therefore, the CAT is still at the start phase in our country, witch should be strengthen in he research and the promotion.This article first made an introduction to the CAT and its related basic theory and the application present situation, then a multi-analysis for four key questions:First, test question parameter setup; Second, ability value estimate; Third, selected topic strategy; Fourth, test expiration principle. Finally the Apache PHP MySQL has been selected as the system's development kit, the design has implemented one CAT curriculum of "C Language Programming" based on the local area network B/S paradigm. This system is composed by auto-adapted modules and so on test, system administration and question bank control. The article elaborated this system's design paradigm in detail, various situations and so on, functional module implementation and system test implementation.
