Radar altimeter is one of the most important microwave remote sensor of aircraft. It also plays lots of important roles in research and economic life. With the development of electronic interference, signal detection under strong interference has become a research hotspot currently. In recent years, Delay-Time Doppler Altimeter (DDA) has been applied in artificial satellite. The known data shows that DDA could not only improve detection ability with noise jamming, but also increase range resolution. This thesis used MATLAB simulation to further study the principle of Delay-Time Doppler Altimeter and fixed the error that is brought by different track.After a brief introduction of radar altimeter, pulse impression technique was point out as the basis of DDA. The simulation showed that chirp signal has a better performance. By introducing the SAR RCMC, the principle and algorithm of Delay-Time Doppler Altimeter is brought forward. Lay the foundations of new algorithm.Then an analysis of the difference and influence between satellite borne radar altimeter and missile borne radar altimeter is made. On the base of that analysis, A new compensate range was point out, and the algorithm of uniformly accelerated rectilinear dived track was provided.Aimed at the algorithm of new model, some simulation of MATLAB was made, the results showed that the echo which is produced by DDA algorithm rises faster, has more powerful peak and has higher precision. Further Monte Carlo simulation proved that the DDA algorithm can improve detection ability 10 dB compared with the traditional algorithm.
