Research On Mining Technology Application Based On Weka Platform College Enrollment Admission Data

In recent years China has carried out a lot of institutional reforms in college enrollment. Especially the "Opinions of the State Council on Deepening the examination and enrollment system reform" enacted in 2014, has described in detail the reform of college entrance requirements, which has indicated the College Enrollment reform direction for universities facing greater and greater challenges. Although there are many domestic colleges and universities enrollment data, but only limited statistical data are present for the deep-seated lack of enrollment data analysis and mining. With the introduction of these college enrollment system reform program, colleges and universities are facing the challenge of how to tap valuable information to adjust their future enrollment strategy from their enrollment data, thus to enhance their competitiveness to attract more high-quality students. Student candidates should know how to predict the probability of a volunteer subject was admitted based on these data, and to adjust the direction of their future learning and make their learning more targetable.The dissertation studies data exploration technology and Weka data exploration platform, which mainly through analyzing and exploring the enrollment in detail and deeply, and finding out the valuable information which is meaningful to enrollment job. First, the dissertation explains the fundamental theories and data exploration Weka platform wholly, then introduces Apriori algorithm of association rules and classified C4.5 decision tree algorithm thoroughly, meanwhile, analyzes some factors which influence students' reports for duty by Apriori algorithm and some main subjects' grades which effect the level for students' enrollment ratio, furthermore, getting related exploring results. At last, proving the exploring results by weka exploration platform. By making a summary for the exploring analysis results, which is a meaningful reference to not only enrolling new students in colleges and universities, but also to students fill I the college or university application.
