Abstract/Summary:
With the increase of age,the old people’s body function gradually decline,physical condition decline,affect old people normal life thereby.The decli ne of the physical health of the elderly has brought some pressure and burden to the medical and economic aspects of our country.Studies have shown that exercise,as an effective non-drug therapy,can significantly improve the quality of sleep in the elde rly and improve the physical health of the elderly to a certain extent.Therefore,improving the health level of the elderly through exercise intervention is one of the important ways to reduce social pressure and medical burden and promote social and economic development.In community elderly people as the research object,this study of community through 10 weeks Wuqinxi of fitness qigongi exercise intervention in the elderly,a campaign for 10 weeks before and after intervention of community elderly body function,body composition and bone mineral density test,blood vessel function and sleep quality,and carries on the analysis and evaluation,to discuss the elderly Wuqinxi of fitness qigongi to community health level and quality of sleep,provide the basis for promoting community elderly health level.Objectives:This study through to the 60-70 years-old Shanghai jing ’an district community Wuqinxi exercise intervention in the elderly,the physical health condition of research on the community elderly health qigong wuqinxi and sleep quality,provide the basis for promoting community elderly health level.MethodsThe study was conducted on 100(46 male,54 female)community elderly in a Shanghai community(aged 60-70).The exercise intervention method was used for exercise,5 times a week,1h each time,and the exercise intensity heart rate was controlled 92-130 times/min,and the exercise intervention lasted for 10 weeks.Movement before and after the intervention,the use of body function,body composition and bone mineral density,cardiovascular function index to evaluate physical health level of the elderly,the Pittsburgh sleep scale evaluation of old people sleep,and on the above indexes were analyzed.Results1、10 weeks Wuqinxi exercise after the intervention,the community changes in body function in the elderly: compared with before exercise intervention,the community elderly men and older women lung capacity were significantly increased(P < 0.01,P < 0.05),close your eyes one foot set time were significantly increased(P < 0.05).There was a decrease in the response of older men and women,while the left and right hand grip increased,but there was no significant difference(P>0.05).2、10 weeks Wuqinxi exercise after the intervention,the community elderly body composition changes: compared with the movement before the intervention,the community elderly male and female skeletal muscle,body moisture,fat weight,basal metabolism index has a rising trend but there was no significant difference(P > 0.05);There was a decrease in BMI,body fat rate and waist-to-hip ratio in elderly men and women in the community,but there was no significant difference(P>0.05).3、10 weeks Wuqinxi exercise after the intervention,there were no changes in bone mineral density in the elderly community change: compared with the movement before the intervention,the community of elderly men and women bone SOS value and a value had no significant difference(P > 0.05).4、10 weeks Wuqinxi exercise after the intervention,the change of the blood vessel function in the elderly community: compared with the movement before the intervention,the community elderly men and women of the degree of hardening of the arteries and blocking degree had no significant change(P > 0.05),systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure decreased but there was no significant difference(P > 0.05).5、10 weeks Wuqinxi exercise after the intervention,the community changes in sleep quality in the elderly: compared with before exercise intervention,the community of elderly men and women sleep score and the sleep quality of the single score decreased significantly(P < 0.05),but the daytime dysfunction,sleep efficiency,sleep disorder,hypnotic drugs,etc,no significant difference(P > 0.05).Conclusions1、Wuqinxi to a certain extent to maintain or improve physical health level of community elderly: 10 weeks Wuqinxi exercise intervention to maintain and enhance the old part of the body quality,and the community to maintain body composition and bone mineral density and vascular function in the elderly community has a certain role.2、The exercise qigong may effectively improve the sleep quality of the elderly in the community.
