In March 2012,China and Serbia signed the "Memorandum of Cooperation for Serbian Primary and Secondary Schools to Establish Chinese Language Lessons",and the Chinese teaching in Serbian primary and secondary schools has thus started for six years.In this process,Chinese teaching has achieved certain achievements,but there are still some deficiencies.Therefore,the author used the opportunity of volunteering Chinese teachers,taking Chinese teachers and Chinese learners from various elementary schools in Belgrade,Serbia as the survey objects,and using many ways including literature research,questionnaire surveys,and case studies.The status of Chinese teaching and the Chinese learning in primary schools of Belgrade were investigated and analyzed.The author finds that there are certain problems in school,teachers,teaching materials,teaching,and students.For these issues,the author put forward some relevant suggestions for education department,schools and teachers,hoping to improve the level of Chinese teaching in Serbian primary schools and promote the development of Chinese teaching.
