In the tide of a new round of curriculum reform,more and more teaching staff realized teaching is not only to teach students knowledge,but rather focus on teaching students how to think,how to learn.In other words,to explore learning methods and learning strategies have drawn greater many frontline teachers' attention,they wanted students to harvest more than just a "fish",but how to learn "fishing".Mind Mapping,as a kind of divergent thinking to specific schema tool of thinking,was first invented by the British scholar Tony Buzan in the 1960s.Mind Mapping has many advantages,such as a clear theme,focused,structured,concise,distinct and easier to understand.Although the mind mapping initially invented by Tony Buzan was to compensate for linear notes,enhance memory,however,with the deepening of the research and promotion,Mind Mapping had been used in various aspects including life,study,work.From making personal plans to a total review,from the auxiliary speech to the company team management,Mind Mapping played an important role in personal,family,education,enterprises.As a compulsory course for students majoring in chemical engineering college,physical chemistry was a course that many considered as teachers difficult to teach,students to learn.On the basis of predecessors' research,this paper attempted to explore feasibility analysis from multi-dimension about Mind Mapping in physical chemistry teaching application,through the literature research,by means of theoretical analysis,case study,experimental implementation and questionnaire survey,to provide a new method to further improve the level of the school physical chemistry course teaching,at the same time,and to provide practical reference for research on Mind Mapping in college chemistry courses.The paper mainly included four parts:The first part,based on the research of the existing literature,according to Modern Brain Science Theory,Constructive Learning Theory and Cognitive Load Theory,discussed Mind Mapping research achievements of chemistry curriculum in China,and explained the relevant theory of Mind Mapping.The second part,with XMind software,in the case of physical and chemical thermodynamics content,is explored the Mind Mapping introduced into college physical chemistry teaching how to build a Mind Mapping.the paper,first,for "the first law of thermodynamics" and "the second law of thermodynamics" as examples,from the level of subject selection,expansion into knowledge arrangement,the macro to micro scale of content,analyzed how to use mind mapping to do summary;Secondly,selecting important knowledge point,reversible process and entropy increase principle,explored the advantage of Mind Mapping in the aspect of knowledge points finish machining.Finally,selecting typical computational problems,in the term of the analysis,the composition and the summary,with Mind Mapping showing known the relationship between quantity and amount,the problem solving process would be clear at a glance.The third part,the selection of shaanxi normal university chemistry A class of 40 students is as experimental object.For the content of the first law of thermodynamics,the second law of thermodynamics,multicomponent system,phase equilibrium and chemical equilibrium as examples,it implemented teaching activities based on Blackboard platform of hybrid,through the questionnaire survey,understanding the situation of student.To explore the influence of different ways of drawing on student's learning effect,it carried out the experiment to analyze the node number and the depth of student work,and the content of the case.It found nodes gradually increased.The total number of nodes with manual drawing was more in the first four class,but after the fifth class,he drawing software of total number of nodes is more than manual drawing number in depth and correlation.In addition,in order to promote the development of the students' senior cognitive level,it selected the last work to promote the student to learn from each other for the peer evaluation on the Bb platform and to deepen the understanding of the mind map learning method.In the end,the paper made a questionnaire survey to understand the effect of student study.The study indicated that Mind Mapping was significant in reinforcing intelligence,multi-dimensional thinking,enhancing the memory.The fourth part summed up the analysis results and deficiencies,and put forward with opinions for the future research direction.All in all,this paper made some preliminary attempt to promote the physical and chemical learning to understand in improving college students' way of thinking and provide references for the application research of Mind Mapping in the field of teaching.
