The curriculum evaluation of Moral Education is an important way to promote the sound development of students' ideology and morality while the traditional evaluation method, which pays much attention to selection and screening functions, is fit for the present educational objectives and results we are pursuing because the evaluation methods, contents and subjects are single. As a result, we are now crying out for a more comprehensive and effective way of educational evaluation: the performance evaluation.The performance evaluation pays more attention to the self-construction of students' advanced thinking ability, which makes relatively comprehensive evaluation on the knowledge objectives, ability objectives, and emotional attitude and value objectives that students need to generate.The 'performance assessment' is a tool of assessing the students, which based on certain standards and educational purpose, presenting a series of complex and complicated circumstances or tasks to students during the class. Through the observation of students' behavior, also the results after completion, the teacher will evaluate the performance of individual student. The 'performance assessment'requires meaningful and reality-related circumstances to be created. It embeds in the classes, need to come together with educating the students. The assessment not only focuses on the results, but also the process in doing it. During the assessment, the students are not only the principals and also the master of their own study. The performance evaluation is very suitable for the evaluation requirements of Moral Education in junior middle school. In the fourth part, it is the center of the thesis, which talks about the design and process of the junior middle school classroom performance evaluation, including objective setting of the performance evaluation, the task design of the performance evaluation, the standard setting for evaluation and the concrete implementation of the performance evaluation.I hope that this thesis will help to deepen the comprehension of the performance evaluation as well as strengthen the effective application of the performance evaluation in junior middle school.
