The writing of historical essays for senior high school students is an important way to structure history classes and historical issues and enhance students ability to explore history .Also,it is very helpful to develop students’ reasoning abillity and core quality.In writing,student-orientation orginal ideas and questioning should be encouraged.The writing of historical essays is in accordance with the basic concepts of the current curriculium reform and studient-centered education reform for all-round development. In addition,it is of great significance to deepen the educational reform,enhance students’ dispersal ability ,historical thinking and competence for social practice.The essay consists of three sections:Section 1 points out the significance of historical writing and historical instruction. The item appeared first in college Entrance Examination papers of history in 2011, especially it appeared frequently in recent years, as a result of which it raised much concern among many scholars and teachers. Not only does writing examine students’ reading and accessing information ability, and set a high standard for interpreting historical knowledge,probe and demonstrate historical issues.There is no doubt that it benefits the reform of learning style in history and polish up students’quality.Section 2 elaborates the three main issues--selection of a topic,proving and formulation ,with the help of questionnaires. What’s more , it demonstrates the key factors related to the three issues and analyzes the specific issues and supply strategies in writing instruction.Section 3 mainly talks about the instructional strategies in historical writing during and after class. In teaching.,it illustrates the techniques to extract thesis outline through the content of teaching materials. Meanwhile, it trains students’ ability to combine theory with history; it trains students’ describing method by means of dialogues in class. In terms of homework, it supplies guidance to students in correcting and evaluating writing about its design. The writer offers some instructional strategies in senior high school students’ history writing,based on the author’s teaching cases and students’ essays.
