In the Internet age, people's life is undergoing tremendous changes. In the field of education, on the one hand, traditional education becomes unable to meet the new social demands for education, which ask for new courses to complement the traditional curriculum deficiencies; on the other hand, the development of Internet technology provides technical and material safeguards for the implementation of new curriculum idea in micro-courses. Therefore, this thesis adopts the post-modern curriculum view as the innovative curriculum development philosophy, and the micro-course as an incarnation of reconstructed curriculum in the Internet era. By means of literature analysis, case study and personal interviews, it explores the essential difference between traditional courses and micro-courses, analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of micro-courses in practical application, and accordingly proposes measures and solutions based on the Internet thinking pattern. In terms of the micro-course development philosophy, to begin with, this thesis breaks the conventional goal-oriented curriculum development theory, and looks for theories more suitable for meeting the needs of today's micro-course development.Second, based on the original principles of curriculum development, this thesis puts forward specific principles that developing the Internet-based, high school geographic micro-courses should follow, they are, the principle of participation, the principle of data feedback, the principle of relativity and the principle of geography. Third, when it comes to the curriculum design, it is recommended to set clear but unspecific learning objectives, for instance, to inspire students' interest in geography, to restore the situational knowledge of geography, to promote the meaningful construction of knowledge and to cultivate their geographical thinking ability. In terms of content selection and organization, it is advocated to base on the actual situation and to choose materials that are close to students' daily life and are able to promote students' problem solving skills. Also, two basic ways are put forward to organize the selected materials. After that, this thesis supervises the production of micro-course, recommending an embedded data feedback system in the micro-course video. Meanwhile, in order to specialize the production of micro-course videos, they should be first designed by teachers and then elaborately made by professional teams. What's more, the ranges.values and prerequisites of micro-course application are discussed in this thesis, together with the influence of Internet thinking on the micro-course evaluation and its evaluating indicators. There are two major findings. First, considering the current needs of high school geography education and the insufficient micro-course development, an innovative micro-course development theory is constructed in the light of the post-modern curriculum view. Second, the application of Internet thinking in the field of curriculum development offers a new approach to the design and production of micro-course,making it more accessible and applicable. In the meantime, issues on the application and evaluation of micro-courses are also discussed, on which basis a new, micro-course-and-large-data-based, process evaluation methodology is then brought forward.
