Philosophical prose is an important type of prose. Its teaching process is a combination of personalized teaching of Philosophical prose and common teaching of prose. Reading the text containing rich and profound philosophy is conducive to the cultivation of students' aesthetic ability and critical thinking ability and the formation of the correct emotional attitude and values. However, in senior high school, a lot of problems still exist in philosophical comprehension process while teaching philosophical proses of the current version textbooks of Jiangsu province, which has not drawn due attention. Considering the current situation of teaching "philosophy" of philosophical prose, this article mainly touches on the investigation of the problems and the seeking of the countermeasures.This study is based on the previous research on philosophical prose. The research objects are determined through sorting out philosophical prose essays in the current textbooks of Jiangsu Education Edition both of middle schools and high schools.Combining the teaching function of philosophical prose,a questionnaire survey and the different perspectives of comprehending "philosophy" of philosophical prose both from teachers and students, this article affirms its positive aspects,points out the existing problems, and analyzes the reasons. Combining the theory of education and teaching cases,some strategies to realize the philosophical prose teaching are put forward, including combing philosophical prose structure, grasping the text images and the key sentences. Special importance is attached to freeze-frame as an approach to depth experience and deep understanding of the text implication. The process of teachers and students reading philosophical prose is also a process of the continuous collisions of ideological and emotional exchange between teachers and texts, students and texts, and teachers and students. Conflicts may arise, but will be resolved and integrated.
