As the development of globalization further eliminates the barriers of different cultures,then,it makes the cultural diversity covering all around the world.In terms of the world,the cultural diversity promotes the communication between different civilizations;and as to the ideological education,achievements of different civilizations’ development provide more beneficial experience for it;then,for the ASEAN foreign student in China,who are at the forefront of the cultural communication,the cultural diversity widens their horizons of culture and enriches their spiritual world.However,it has to admit that the development of the cultural diversity makes more difficult to do the ideological education among the ASEAN foreign student in China.Those difficulties are from the open cultural environment,the limitations of cultural concept,the difficulty of selecting the diverse values and the influence by the moral relativism.Facing those challenges from cultural issues,it is urgently needed to bring the cultural consciousness into the theoretical research and practical exploration of the ASEAN foreign student’s ideological education.Using the concept of “gemeiqimei,meirenzhimei,meimeiyugong,tianxiadatong” guides the ASEAN foreign student’s ideological education,and also introducing the advanced Chinese culture nourishes it.The purpose of this study is to investigate the issue of the ASEAN foreign student’s ideological education,basing on the perspective of the cultural consciousness.From microcosmic view,the results of this study help to cultivate the ASEAN foreign students’ awareness of the cultural consciousness and to improve their cultural literacy;then,when the foreign student’s ideological education meets the conflicts and challenges,it makes the problems or difficulties can be easier resolved by the highly self-reflection and creation.From macroscopic view,the results of this study help to deeply comprehend the cultural connotation of ideological education,and to give a full space on playing the ideological education’s cultural role of “yiwenhuaren,yiwenyuren”,finally,to further expand the breadth and depth on the research area of ideological education among the ASEAN foreign student in China.
