The Problem-solving is an important part of mathematical activities.The Polya's theory of problem-solving gives the theoretical basis for solving problems,which is consistent with the concept of high school curriculum standards in our country.Derivative is one of the important concepts of high school mathematics,and it connects the content of high school and university.In high school derivative learning,the students think that the derivative learning is too abstract and can not understand its basic content,resulting in students with learning difficulties.Therefore,this study combined the Polya's theory of solving problems with mathematics curriculum standards,and applied to derivative teaching in order to solve this problem.This paper is mainly divided into three parts: The first part introduces the core concepts of the problem-solving theory and the Polya's theory of problem solving,including his “ how to solve the problem”.The second part is the analysis of the necessity of the problem-solving theory in the derivative Teaching.The third part is to study the application of the Polya's problem-solving theory in derivative teaching,including applying the problem-solving theory to the derivative teaching.This paper explores the application of the Polya's problem-solving theory in the derivative teaching of senior high school,which has great practical significance and function.Teachers use the Polya's problem-solving theory to conduct derivative teaching,developing students' good habits of topic exploring ? multi-answer question and reflection after problem solving.It can cultivate students' creative thinking,stimulate students' awareness of exploring knowledge and cultivate plausible reasoning ability of students.it can improve the ability of students to solve problems,so as to achieve the purpose of teaching and improve teaching effectiveness.
