Mathematics is an important discipline for students to acquire knowledge and develop their abilities.Each phase of the knowledge in the field of mathematics subject containing different content.In the junior high school,students have to accept the mathematical knowledge began to abstract,complex,specifically contains the four major areas,such as the number and algebra,space and graphics,statistics and probability,practice and comprehensive application.However,in the junior high school stage,students' learning time and energy is limited,the level of students' awareness is limited too.In the face of complex mathematical knowledge,in order to ensure that students of junior high school can master the necessary and the new curriculum requirements basic knowledge and skills,and achieve good results in the examination of the assessment mechanism,students must play the main consciousness,and focus on the key and difficult knowledge of the subject by the limited attention,according to the standard requirements and their own ability.This requires that students to have a certain ability of selective attention,cultivate the necessary selective attention strategies,in the process of learning.Teachers in the teaching process should also be appropriate to guide and stimulate students to improve their level of selective attention and develop the appropriate Strategy.On the basis of previous studies,this paper investigates the level of selective attention of junior high school students and understand the current status of students' selective attention level,and link the relevant theories of selective attention with the teaching of mathematics,provides some Suggestions to improve the teaching.First of all,in this study,the author expounds the relevant theoretical research of selective attention by referring to the literature,and summarizes the connotation,mechanism,theoretical model,related strategies and related application of selective attention.On this basis,the author constructs the theory of selective attention in mathematics learning,defines the relevant concepts of selective attention,classifies the selective attention,and gives four qualities of selective attention.Secondly,the author prepared a questionnaire to reflect the level of students' selective attention,the junior high school students(the second and the third)were surveyed to understand the present situation of the selective attention level of students of the different grades,different sexes and different grades,in mathematics study.In addition,this paperadopt the way of interview randomly to survey part of school mathematics teachers,to understand the teacher's teaching methods,teaching content,students' learning performance(including the performance of the class,after class)and so on.Finally,the results are analyzed by SPSS and EXCELL software,and the following conclusions are drawn:(1)There are significant differences in the selective attention level of students with different grades and different grades in solving mathematical problems;(2)On the application of selective attention strategy,junior high school students in the application of the strategy is not optimistic,the situation of the selective attention strategy application in different grades and different grades of students are also quite different.Finally,according to the above analysis,the level of selective attention of students showed a positive correlation with academic performance.It can be seen that selective attention is of great significance in promoting students' efficient learning and improving students' academic performance.Therefore,the author finally deep reflections on teaching and gives a specific teaching suggestions.And pointed out: teachers should choose the appropriate teaching methods to organize the teaching,according to the specific teaching content,in the specific teaching process;guide students to pay attention to the learning content selectively;guide students to clear the focus of learning Content,through learning objectives and questions;pay attention to cultivating and training students' ability of selective attention,pay attention to the application of students' selective attention strategy.So as to improve the students' ability of selective attention,arouse the subjectivity of the students' learning,cultivate good learning habits for students in the future of mathematics learning.
