Abstract/Summary:
Research background:For individual’s physical and mental health development,Executive function has a central role.Good executive function can help individuals better control themselves,future goal,and purposeful behavior.But if there is something wrong with the executive function,it will lead to the abnormal changes in cognitive,emotional and social functions and other aspects of individuals.And all these seriously affect their social achievements.The present studies on executive functions of college students have shown that in new environments,they are prone to show maladjustment,or even psychological disorders and diseases such as depression,anxiety.In recent years,more and more research evidence shows that sports can promote the development of College Students’ executive function,which can be used as an effective means to promote the development of College Students’ executive function.And with the progress of society,people’s awareness and demand for sports continue to improve.The university sports curriculum is an important way to implement quality education and cultivate the all-round talents,promote the development of executive function of college students should bear the responsibility,and has important value in theory and practice of PE Teaching Reform in Colleges and universities.Objective:On the basis of the physical and mental development characteristics of college freshmen,the present study carries out the situational teaching in basketball class.After 8 weeks,the author discusses the influence of the 8-week situational teaching in basketball course on the executive function of college students,and reveals the effect of college physical education curriculum on the development of college students’ executive function.Methods:82 students,from Yangzhou University in Yangzhou City,Jiangsu Province,were the subject of this research.Choose one class randomly as the situational teaching group(42),and the other class as the general teaching group(40).Flanker,2-back and More-odd shifting were used in the 8-week experiment to evaluate the changes of the executive function of the college students before and after the experiment based on three subcategories:suppression,refresh and conversion function.At last,the data was analyzed by independent sample T test,repeated measurement of variance analysis of SPSS.Results:(1)Different basketball teaching has different influence on students’ executive function,and the interactive effect of time*group is statistically significant(F(1,60)=13.21,P<0.01).2)The basketball teaching with situational teaching method has a positive influence on Freshmen’s inhibitory function,and the interaction effect of different basketball teaching on College Students’ inhibitory function is significant in the time group(F(1,60)=7.60,P=0.01<0.05).(3)Basketball teaching adopting situational teaching method has positive influence on Freshmen’s refresh function,and the interaction effect of different basketball teaching on College Students’ refresh function in time*group is remarkable(F(1,60)=16.70,P=0.00<0.05).(4)The basketball teaching with situational teaching method has no significant influence on the freshmen’s switching function,and the interaction effect of different basketball teaching on the transfer function of college students in time group is not significant(F(1,60)=0.02,P=0.90>0.05).Conclusion:(1)In the 8 week,basketball teaching with situational teaching method can promote the development of executive function of freshmen.(2)In the 8 weeks with Situational Teaching Method basketball course for freshman executive function sub function to promote the effect of differences,promote suppression effect;refresh function promoting effect,promote the conversion function effect is not significant.
