Function is the core content of high school mathematics,it is a main line in high school mathematics learning always occupies a large proportion in high school mathematics,in practical teaching,and students' understanding of the concept of function difficult concept.The APOS theory has a very good application in the teaching of mathematical concepts.The division of the four stages clearly defines the process of students' cognition of the concept of function,which helps to guide the teaching of the concept of function.In this paper,the concept of literature will be sorted out by the method of literature research,which will lay a theoretical foundation for the following research.Secondly,to understand the current high school students understanding of the concept of function level through the test results of the study show that students in each stage of the function level of understanding differences,on the understanding of the operational phase level best,and for the schema stage level of understanding is relatively poor;in addition,high school students' understanding the concept of function is better than the level of high school students,understand the boys the concept of function level to understand better than female students in key high school function concept level is higher than that of ordinary middle school.Furthermore,the common errors in the four stages of the students' comprehension of the concept of function are analyzed by means of the investigation and interview.Finally,some suggestions are put forward on how to improve the understanding function of senior high school students.For example:to stimulate students'enthusiasm for learning the function form;strengthen the function of teaching;pay attention to the students' understanding of the function of sign language;variant training designed to function concept teaching;rational use of multimedia information technology;the formation of students'function of knowledge network.The full text is divided into seven parts:the first part is the introduction,mainly introduces the topic of this paper and the reasons for the research literature has been reviewed,so as to point out the problems to be solved and the significance of the study.The second part mainly introduces the theoretical basis of the study:the concept of function and APOS theory;the two part of the paper.The third part mainly introduces the design of this study,including literature research method,test method and interview method.The fourth part is the main content of this paper,mainly through the investigation to understand the current understanding of the concept of the function of high school students.The fifth part is the analysis of the common errors in the understanding of the concept of the students in the four stages of the test and interview.In the sixth part,the author puts forward some suggestions on how to improve the understanding of the function of the senior high school students.The seventh part is a summary of the main conclusions of this study,as well as the lack of reflection and outlook for this study.In summary,this study based on the APOS theory to understand the current situation of high school students to understand the concept of function,and made recommendations for the status quo,these work for the development of the concept of teaching function has some guiding significance.
