Mathematics plays an important role in the progress of science and technology.It is a great increasingly contribution to physics and science.It has a wide range of applications in various fields.So basic mathematics education are become more and more significant.The most convenient and straightforward way to understand the situation of mathematics education mainly through textbooks,because textbooks as the core of mathematics education reflect the country’s educational ideas and educational concepts and also the most important basis which teachers to carry out teaching and organization of student activities.The teaching of primary school mathematics textbooks is not only the preparation of closed-door repairer by domestic writers according to the domestic curricula,but also through the comparison with other advanced countries’ textbooks,drawing on the characteristics of their textbooks,and finally writing them according to their national conditions and curriculum standards of the bright spot,so as to promote the overall development of education and teaching and to meet the needs of discipline construction.After the reform of the new curriculum.Through a comparative study of international and regional mathematics textbooks,the study found that Chinese scholars mainly fcous on the developed countries and regions such as Japan,Korea,Taiwan,Singapore,Hong Kong,but the study of elementary school mathematics in the UK is very shallow.Furthermore,a comparative study of the number and algebra of the British textbook is rarely.So it is worthy of study in ‘number and algebra’ field.Therefore,this study mainly select the representative of the two peoples of the People’s Education Press launched the latest version of primary school mathematics textbooks and the British Harper Collins published primary school mathematics textbook ‘number and algebra’ field for comparative analysis.This paper provides suggestions and suggestions for the preparation and revision of the textbook ‘Number and Algebra’ in China,and provides reference for the realization of high quality and diversification of textbooks in our country.The research indicate:First,there are differences and something in common between the two sets of mathematics textbooks in the field of ‘number and algebra’In the field of ‘number and algebra’,the two sets of math textbooks emphasize in line with the standards of their respective courses,emphasizing the cultivation ofstudents’ numbers,emphasizing the learning of basic knowledge and paying attention to the cultivation of mathematical
