People's lives are full of visual images that influence and change people's way of life.Children are a special individuals,whose physical and mental development is in the process of changing.Children are immersed in a visual culture comprising of multiple images.Such visual environment has an impact on their identity and values.So,children in the development of critical period,knowing the reaction of children facing daily visual images is very important to guide children's art appreciation activities and lead children multi-oriented evaluate visual images.Research at home and abroad research more attention to th e viewer's response to classical works of art and less concerned about the daily life of the public visual image response research.Taiwan area has researches on the response of children and adolescents to daily visual images,but many of our previous studies have focused on theoretical research,and there is little research in that area.So the focus of this study firstly is to understand how and why children will have such an interpretation of visual images and secondly is to know the present situation of teachers' art appreciation and the view of integrating daily visual images into art appreciation.The subjects of the study included 103 children from art kindergartens and105 children from non-art kindergartens to complete the visual video response questionnaire,then analysis of children in the face of daily visual images when the viewing mode and interpretation of the type.This study conducted in-depth interviews with nine teachers in the kindergarten to investigate the focus of the art appreciation activities in teachers' actual teaching activities and how they guide children and the attitude of teachers to daily visual images.Simultane ously,this study also gave the parents of the affected children a family social and economic status questionnaire to understand the family socioeconomic status of children.In this study,SPSS16.0 statistical software was used to quantitati vely analyze the data obtained,at the same time,the qualitative information obtained from the interview was coded to analyze.This study draws the following conclusions:1)In the face of daily visual images,the child's viewing mode is based on the appearance of viewing.2)The gender,age,art learning background and family socioeconomic status of young children are factors that affect the different viewing patterns of young children.3)The nature of the visual image is a factor that affects the interpretation type of image.4)Art background Kindergarten children show a richer interpretation of the type.5)Children's art ap preciation activities include less everyday visual images,and classical art as the main content.Based on the above conclusions,this study makes the following recommen dations: 1)Horizontal rich children watching the image of the content,to promote the balanced development of young children;2)Carefully selected appreciation works for children;3)Parents and kindergartens work together to create a good visual education environment for young children;4)Multi-channel,many aspects of children's art teachers to enhance the educational literacy.
