Local geography knowledge is specified in geography curriculum content of junior high school, but interpretation of geography compulsory I in high school, selection of appropriate local cases and being applied to classroom teaching skillfully can make the high school geography teaching more vivid, improve the students’interest and increase teaching efficiency. It has certain research value. Therefore, the application of local geography teaching materials is very important and necessary in high school.Based on Yan’an City and geography compulsory I in high school, the author researches the strategies of local geographical resources development and application. Through the methods of literature analysis, observation, case analysis, questionnaire and interview, the author investigates and analyzes cognitive situation and problems of local geographical resources in Yan ’an City. On this basis, the paper puts forward selection and production of the local teaching cases, application strategies and applicable class cases. It provides a reference basis for the majority of geography teachers in middle school, promotes the popularization local geography teaching in Yan’an City, and improves the quality of education development in national area. In this paper, the results are as follows:(1) Through investigation of the cognitive situation and application present situation of local geography cases teaching, find that most students understand and support the local geographical cases teaching. After participating in local cases teaching, the classroom atmosphere make good obviously, and students have a big change. But the teachers’ application of local geography cases teaching is still in primary stage and the frequency of application is low.(2) The survey of the current local geography teaching cases in Yan’an City find that the degree of students’ awareness is low and the degree of participation is not high. They just know this concept, but not clear. The ways of development and presentation of teachers are single and unskilled. Most of geography teachers apply local cases in some special sections and in the form of verbal examples instruct local cases. But not through the ways of cooperative study, group discussion and others make full use of local cases. It doesn’t form systematic local geography teaching cases.(3) Local teaching cases using the principles of suitability, authenticity, intuitive, typicality and so on, the author summaries the process of local teaching cases: collecting local geographical resources, combining local geographical resources and textbook content, and though innovative thinking, integrating into local geographical cases.(4) Based on the principles of selection of the local teaching cases in Yan’an City, the author does systemic comb for knowledge of using local cases teaching geography compulsory I in high school, such as Qiankun bay, Hukou waterfall, Luochuan geological parks and so on. There are four types of 24 points. The interpretation of principle class has 13 points, the showing of activity class has 6 points, the explanation of elements class has 3 points and the application of practice class has 3 points. The integrity of geographical environment is more special. From the perspective of soil and water loss, it is a point of the explanation of elements class. But from the aspects of project of Returning Cropland to Forest, it belongs to the application of practice class.(5) Teaching cases are the main elements, while local geography cases secondary. Unify teaching cases and local geography cases organically. On this basis, the paper puts forward three stages of strategies of application geography classroom including preparation, implementation and reflection in high school.(6) Based on principles of choosing local cases, process of production and strategies of application, the paper refines out three typical local teaching cases and combine classroom teaching mode of Baota District in the fourth middle school-"362" mode to display in Yan’an. |
