Learning City system is a system which based on urban economic,social,cultural,political,and other elements of the more advanced composite systems,nonlinear systems with complex,multi-level,adaptability,self-organization,diversity and other features.Complex systems science and systems theory is a combination of nonlinear science and deepened to the complexity of the intelligence of the system,the premise of adaptive research,advocacy system and its principals in the system has a "learning" and "accumulated experience" connotation characteristics and learning city coincides with the system by the city of learning theory of differentiation,aggregation,the emergence of such phenomena is important.In this paper,the theoretical basis of learning city construction as the main line to Beijing learning city to create work for the study,in order to analyze the mechanism of learning city construction as the center,carried out relevant research from two aspects of theory and model.The main contents of this paper are:At First,the introduction of complex adaptive system(CAS)of the basic theory and methods,based on interpretation of the concept of the urban system proposed on learning city as a complex adaptive system also forms reveal its complex adaptive features,and demonstrate the CAS Theory relevance to the learning city construction;Secondly,the review of the formation,progress and research status of the theory of learning city,interdisciplinary research methods proposed to treat learning city construction from the perspective of system theory is the trend and direction of such research;and CAS Theory in City of Learning construction was simulated and analyzed,with emphasis on analysis of two mechanisms of learning city system evolution:adaptive learning mechanisms,the emergence mechanism.Lastly,the system reviews the case of a learning city Beijing city building work history,policy and practice of text features,changes are summarized;based on the specific circumstances of Beijing,Beijing learning city analysis mechanism and build system the Beijing urban construction CAS model.In research methods,using literature research,historical research,case studies,investigation,comparative study method.Including literature collection,screening,review,analysis and application;lateral foreign learning city construction were analyzed and compared,longitudinal study of Beijing Urban Construction course sort out;policies for different stages of development of a learning city construction,rules and regulations were analyzed;?The innovation of this study lies in the complexity of the city as a learning activity has to adapt to a whole study of the evolution from a systems perspective of the general rules and characteristics,combined with the CAS theory redefines the connotation of learning new city,new concept,research universal;and the actual situation in Beijing to assess and analyze.Cause analysis and usability analysis tools for interdisciplinary thinking can enrich learning city research and practice.
