Abstract/Summary:
As the party and the government attach great importance to it,the special education in our country is in the rapid development period.Special education teachers will face unprecedented challenges and pressure.Teacher has always been one of the most stressful jobs.Because of the special nature of the work,special education teachers are difficult to get the attention and widespread concern from the society.The extraordinary work intensity and social pressure,making them easier to produce more job burnout and psychological health problems than ordinary teachers.As special education teachers,if job burnout is formed,great harm and negative impact will be brought on the physical and mental health of teachers,work status,or growth,and the quality of education to the student.And the harm and the negative impact will trigger a series of problems.The problems become the important factors affecting the development of special education.If these problems can’t be attached great importance to early,they will affect teacher’s own improvement and the development of special education.Special education teachers going out of the job burnout,increasing professional happiness,putting their hearts into teaching job,which have already become urgent solved problems.This study draws lessons from the research achievements of teachers’ job burnout in primary and middle school,and 101 teachers in 3 special education schools in Dalian were selected as the research objects.Comprehensively using the methods of the literature research,questionnaire,interview,quantitative analysis and other methods,deeply analyzing the leading causes of special education teachers’ job burnout,this study put forward the effective strategies to solve the special education teachers’ job burnout.Based on the results of this study,the following conclusions are drawn:1.The special education teachers’ job burnout questionnaire,which this study based on,has good psychometrics indexes,and the questionnaire has good validity and reliability.2.The overall condition of Dalian special education teachers’ job burnout is not particularly serious.The dimension scores are below the average.Lowest dehumanization scores on job burnout of each dimension,show that the special education teachers and students and colleagues maintain positive interpersonal relationship.3.Low age(under 30 years old),low teaching age(under 3 years),non special education background,high special education degree(Master)and single teachers,who are engaging in educating the mentally handicapped,on the low achievement dimension of job burnout,have significantly higher scores than other groups of teachers on the similar factors.In addition,the scores of mental retarded education teachers’ knowledge exhaustion dimension are significantly higher than those in deaf education and basic education teachers.Unmarried single teachers on knowledge exhaustion dimension have higher scores than married teachers.Gender and whether as a teacher in charge of students have no significant correlation with job burnout.4.On the influence of the total score of job burnout,regression analysis shows that degree of work pressure and teaching age have a certain prediction effect.
