"Reading" is mentioned repeatedly in the new curriculum standard. Its importance is self-evident and reading teaching method is a very important method in ancient Chinese education and it still has certain reference value and significance to today's Chinese teaching. But it has confused many teachers with how to apply the reading teaching method more better to senior high school Chinese teaching. Chinese is an important subject in basic education system. And it is the basis for learning other courses, so senior Chinese also occupy an important position in senior high school. I hope that this exploration can promote the application of reading teaching method in senior high school Chinese teaching.The first part of the paper is mainly to explore the concept and theoretical basis of reading aloud reading teaching method. Reading teaching is the main reading and teaching methods in ancient China. The characteristics and rules of Chinese language and the new curriculum standards for "reading" requirements of the senior high school Chinese teaching needs to use the reading teaching method.The second part of the paper mainly explores the characteristics of the text which is suitable for the use of the reading teaching method. Compared with the non-literary texts, the literary texts are more suitable to apply the reading teaching method. This part discusses the characteristics of poetry, prose, fiction, drama four kinds of literary texts suitable for the use of reading teaching method.The third part of the paper is to explore how to apply the reading teaching method in senior high school Chinese teaching. Strengthen the guidance on students' reading and to improve students' reading ability; adopt different ways of reading, stimulate the students' reading interest; to create a suitable reading situation and reading atmosphere; give students sufficient reading time, enhance students sense of Chinese gradually.The fourth part of the paper is the teaching design of reading teaching method of in two parts. The first is the modern poetry Saying Goodbye to Cambridge Again teaching case, the second is the teaching case Storm. The third is the teaching case of The Red Cliff Ode. I hope can improve the application of reading teaching method in senior high school Chinese teaching.
