Rapid development of science and technology in the 21 st century leaded to the lack of "person" in community like society and schools and others, then followed by shadowing of human life phenomenon, people in this environment have to seek for way to avoid or eliminate this phenomenon. While life education, which is the nemesis of this phenomenon, could inject vitality to man’s life. When mentioned life, which would inspire people to think of sports that we were taking participate in, and always reveal a sign of our life. Track and field is a main course in the sport course. Life education penetration into track and field received extensive attention from a majority of research scholars, became a hotspot of study in recent years.Life education is a worth pursuing athletics of track and field programs, and also is one exist form. Looking at major courses from the perspective of life education could show life character of track and field and tried to integrate life education into the curriculum components in track and field, in order to return to the true life, combine life education curriculum and athletics organically to achieve education, educating the body, and guide students to respect life,cherish life, love life, so that the value of life and to enhance overall development of students.This paper took the fit between life education and track and field curriculum as a starting point,methods like literature, expert interviews and logical analysis were used to study the life education, life education philosophy, reality,concern and missing in track and field. In addition,the literature survey showed that track and field compulsory courses for undergraduate had the following problems such as: focusing on teaching of athletics technology in track and field too much, which leading single and boring contents, ignoring the athletics fitness function; the teaching mode and teaching methods in track and field were old, the appraisal system were not perfect. This study found the the root causes of problems through investigation, analysis and research of the reform of track and field course for undergraduate, examined curriculum reform of track and field based on the concept of modern life education and proposed appropriate measures to provide a solid foundation of track and field courses reform and learned the track and field life education into the curriculum reform, then started on perspective of people’s life.Introduction of this study expounded the basis, the purpose and significance, research status of life education in physical education of the topic.The second part introduced the research object and research methods.The third part described concepts on the life education and athletics class, fit of life education and athletics class, the missing status of track and field life education in college sports curriculum, reform strategy from the perspective of life education.The fourth part made some suggestions and recommendations based on the analysis and study of reform of track and field curriculum and organic combined between athletics and life education courses from the term of the life education.
