Short Film "Three": Creative Exploration From The Author's Film

With the high-speed development of small county,people once familiar with the environment is undergoing great changes,there are a group of confused people.The realistic short film "A Broken Family" is focused on the story of two generations of a family in a small county.After the father died,the mother and the siblings continued to live together.Father’s departure seems to let this family lost cohesion,each have their own confusion.The canteen that the mother and father run together faces demolition.The pregnant sister Xiaoliu Zhao is worrying about the soldier thing of her brother,Xiaoshu Zhao.The younger brother,Xiaoshu Zhao,is in young ignorance and missing father,who played this guide role,almost misguided.The state narrative of the film draws on the "New Wave" of the author’s guidance and "Taiwan new film" which has similar cultural background with the mainland.In the first part,this paper briefly expounds the author and development of the film.Firstly,the author’s development is divided into two stages.The first is Astruc’s "camera-fountain pen" theory stage,the second is the author of the modern film industry in the development of multidimensional degree.Then a simple analysis of "Taiwan’s new film",influenced by the new wave,in particular,this paper analyzes the theme and scene scheduling of the works of "Taiwan new film",and expounds how the author’s theory is embodied in the "new film in Taiwan".In the second part,it begins to expound how the author’s theory is embodied in "A Broken Family",from the theme,the narrative,characterization and other aspects of the analysis.Not the pursuit of linear narrative,the state of survival of the characters,under the pressure of life,the alienation of the family,the power of the social development,the fate of the small characters,and the contradictions between the two generations of dislocation and complex emotional intertwined and collision;In the third part,we begin to elaborate the film creation for the above theme,with short film "A Broken Family".Scene scheduling for the core to create,including lens movement,actor scheduling,light processing,scene settings and so on.In the last part of the creation will be summed up and reflection,and briefly on the author of the film on the extension of thinking,in order to provide a reference of the creative thinking and shooting skills to later directors.
