The Actor Expands And Shapes The Performance Of The Work

The author has devoted into performing and writing sample reel A Moment since March 2017.This thesis aims to explore dancer’s physical performance and role shaping in the work based on author’s years of studying and performing traditional Chinese dance.During the creation of traditional Chinese dance the dancer is regarded as director’s “loudspeaker” or role’s “coat” and usually under the condition of being molded,consequently dancer has to conceal “self” to some extent.However,the creation of A Moment has broken through previous dance performing method and explored work expression and artistic shaping’s new possibility.Dancer searches dance role’s “self” proactively under director’s guide.The thesis contains three parts.First,through the case analysis of his works A Moment,it explains the creation process and experience of the works.Second,combining the creation and performance experience of the works,clarifies the main value of the actor’s identity in the creation,and third reveals that the actor is the object of the creation,and the part of the creation subject,and the creation of the works.The meaning of expansion.
