The Use And Expression Of "metaphor" In Dance Creation

Ever Since Aristotle used the word Metaphor in his aesthetic works Poetics and Rhetoric,the theory of Metaphor has been applied in other disciplines.In China,metaphor is an important rhetorical device in literature,which plays an active role in literary aesthetics.Literature and art were derived from the same root,so the research findings about rhetorical devices can also be applied in art research such as dancing.The research scope of this paper is within choreographic creation,with metaphor being the subject of the research.It will analyze the original choreographic works named LONG by exploring the connotation implied by choreographic movements in order to reveal the expression form of metaphor in choreographic works.
