Classical Feelings In Zheng Min's Poems

Zheng Min who is a poet and scholaris the only existing one of the Nine Leaves School,who has left a thick and heavy in colours in the exploration of Chinese modern poetry.This dissertation draw materials from Zheng Min's suite poems,analyzing classical consciousness through text analysis.Chapter 1 is a summary,introducing the main works and stages of Zheng Min's suite poems.Research on Zheng Min began in 1940s,initially discussed inperiodicals newspapers like "Yishi Daily","Earth",and supporters deemed Zheng Min to be a rare genius,while critics accused her of "submissive attitude" to reality.Zheng Min's position in the history of poetry is laid by Tang Shi,who believes "Zheng Min is the most simple and vigorous,and she is the most abundant".In 1980s,the theoretical value of Zheng Min's poetry gradually revealed.Zheng Min published the theory of poetry and poetry criticism in "literary criticism",and in 1994,he began to debate on how to evaluate the "54" vernacular movement with Fan Qinlin,which caused a shock in the academic community at that time.As one of the Nine Leaves School,Zheng Min is researched accompanying with the Nine Leaves School.Thus,the general research and review about the Nine Leaves School is also appied to Zheng Min.As to Zheng Min,her articles is divided into two stages.In the early stage,her works result from physical substance,aiming at exploring its kernel;in the late stage,her works are gradually mature andher thinking is more comfortable,long suite poems emerging in her works,and all real or virtual finger can be a trigger point.Chapter 2 investigates the classical consciousness of Zheng Min's suite poems.Image is the essence of poetry,all poetry has images,whether the image is concrete or.The chapter focus on three images:"autumn","mother" and "exist",aiming at finding the connection with classical poems in the image of emotion and technique.Zheng Min's "autumn" is a voiced,colourful,meaningful image,which is the carrier of her thoughts,this tortore of life is different from the ancient.The "mother" image of Zheng Min is kind to the child,but the mother is a symbol of suffering,which is very similar to the image of the mother in ancient times.While the most abstract image of Zheng Min is "exist",which is a representative of Zheng Min's later poems.This image is Zheng Min's the poetic interpretation of these corresponding concepts:the foreign and the internal,form and content,the signifier and the signified,and these thoughts originated from ancient times,but they are not as profound as Zheng Min's researchs.Chapter 3 investigates the combination of poetry and painting of Zheng Min's suite poems.Zheng Min's ability to appreciate the painting is very good,and from the unique perspective of women,the Modernist theory is expressed through the appreciation of paintings.In Zheng Min's suite poems that appreciate paintings,some based on the observation of pictures,analyses the content and composition of paintings;some take paintings as a way to observe,illustrating her views on poemsthrough the analysis of the paintings;some accomplish transcendence of the earthly world through paintings,and through the blank of paintings bring herself and the reader imagine the remaining distance.Chapter 4 investigates stylistic theory of Zheng Min's suite poems.This chapter is constitute of three aspects:the style of poetry,the relationship between poetry form and content,the combination of realism and romanticism.Zheng Min's exploration of poems is not limited to the content,and she also deliberate the style of poems.Similar to"pagoda poem" in Chinese classical poems,Zheng Min also tries to rely on the style of poetry to help the reader understand the poem content.Although this form is simple and straightforward,this is also a kind of beneficial exploration.Motifs such as the content and form of poetry and the continuously and eliminating the poetic tradition are abstract and have no definite solution.On the combination of realism and romanticism in Zheng Min's poems,both realistic criticism of society and the romantic praise for the good things are existing,and she wrote a series of "heavy lyric poems".The most attractive point of Zheng Min's poems is that she tries to explore poems through poetic language.Interpreting abstract questions through abstract language will make the two resonant at the end of the thought,and will bring a variety of possibilities for the interpretation of its meaning,and will also give the audience a space for the expansion of thinking.The more we read Zheng Min's poems,the more we admire her.I hope my dissertation can help readers get some points of connotation of her suite poems.
