From the Shang Dynasty to the Spring and Autumn Period,it is not only an important stage in the history of Chinese casting,but also the most active period in the history of calligraphy.Based on the ancient text of Shang and Zhou Dynasty,Qin text is gradually improved in font style and writing of dot in Chinese characters during this period.Although elegant and handsome,it is very difficult to write,and thus limit the using occasions.However,carving character and writing on bamboo are more convenient.In the late Warring States,seal characters and early official script were mixed on Qin pottery,weapons,bamboo and other materials.The change from seal characters to official script is a vital step in the history of calligraphy.As a representative of Qin seal characters,Qin Fengzongzi Washu has a comprehensive effect.Learned from Jinwen in Zhou Dynasty and brought forward xiaozhuan and seal characters,Qin Fengzongyi Washu has a a sign of zhuan and a style of li,and it represent the evolution of zhuan and li calligraphy.Therefore,Qin series characters,sunch as Qin Fengzongyi Washu is irreplaceable in studying the evolution of writing styles.This paper studies Qin Fengzongyi Washu,analyzes the writing style and writing feature of Qin characters and thus infers the development of calligraphy.The first chapter is the introduction part,it reviews and summaries the related studies and their academic ideas,main problems and significance.In the second chapter,the writer firstly gives definitions of both taowen and washu,and puts washu in the category of taowen.And secondly,the writer analyzes the outline and words of Qin Fengzongyi Washu.The third chapter is the key part of the paper.It analyzes the writing features of Qin Fengzongyi Washu and its causes,and then analyze the data by tables.After comparing it with other characters,the writer summarizes the similarities and differences in Qin series characters.Considering the mutual connection of various factors,the writer proves that washu appeared in an important stage during the changing period of Qin series characters.It indicates the end of ancient characters and the opened the perlude of official script.The fourth chapter focus on the era features and historical status of Qin series characters,and briefly conclude the its influence on later generations.The writer thinks Qin Fengzongyi Washu reflects the calligraphic features of some regional and epochal differences,which makes it a vital part of Chinese calligraphy history.
