Since the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty,Taoism has influenced the painting.No matter from the subject choice,or the aesthetic orientation of reference,to the history of painting adds a thick and heavy in colours.This article starts with the historical background of Taoism,and reveals the influence of teaching on painting.And the Taoist priest Fang Congyi as the main object of study.The Yuan Dynasty landscape painting is an important stage in the history of Chinese landscape painting Chinese,influenced by Taoism and Taoist,advocating the characteristics of literati painting was developed to the extreme environments.Since the Ming and Qing Dynasty painting are also continue to develop in this atmosphere,so the study of the history of the Yuan Dynasty painting is very important.The typical research object Fang Congyi selected in this paper is this kind of literati painters in Yuan dynasty.From the results of Fang Congyi works "Rowing in the Wuyi Mountains" can be seen as a Taoist Fang Congyi displayed a school of Taoist landscape artistic conception in landscape painting."Rowing in the Wuyi Mountains" depicts the Wuyi Fujian scenic spots in Wuyi Mountains,Wuyi Mountains since ancient times and Taoism are closely linked,Wuyi Mountains is a famous Taoist China,to really rise of cave reputation in the world."Rowing in the Wuyi Mountains" can be said to be Fang Congyi representative with Taoism that works.This article from Fang Congyi’s life and times background,combined with the extant paintings,especially his "Rowing in the Wuyi Mountains",overall study of his painting revealing Taoist Taoist identity and his character,the relationship of landscape painting and further explore the Fang Congyi.
