This paper is a practical report on English-Chinese translation from chapters 7 and8 of Stephen Little's book Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Challenges and Experiences from East and West, which was published in 2017.This practice report aims to explore the linguistic characteristics and discourse style of management English in light of the specific cases in translation, and on the basis of this, the corresponding translation strategies of management works are explained in detail.Firstly,in terms of the translation strategies of proper nouns, translators choose the methods of transliteration plus notes and free translation. As for the translation methods of professional terms, the translator adopts "equivalent translation" and "explanatory addition of translation".Secondly, the translator also analyzes the translation methods of loose sentences, using the translation methods of "order" and "inversion".Finally, the translator starts from the macroscopic aspect of the text, and uses the method of "adding logical structure" and adopting the method of "context analysis" to solve the translation difficulties of "commonality".
