A Study Of Gender Differences In Chinese

As an important topic of humanities research,the relationship between language and gender has always been attracting anthropology,sociolinguistics and other scholars in many fields.The studies of relationship between language and gender started early abroad,but it started relatively late in domestic.Although there have been some monographs and a lot of related academic papers,the depth and breadth need to be improved,and it is necessary to strengthen the localization of studies in gender language.Research of gender language gap in Chinese academic circles is still in its infancy,so the gender gap of Chinese and its combination with literature,film and television works are in its infancy.Because of the physiological,psychological,social,historical and cultural reasons,there formed a huge difference between the sexes.Therefore,language is caused by gender gap.First of all,women generally relatively repressed,emotional and are careful to interpersonal relationships,so there are more tactful and implicative language expression,they avoid conflicting with other people;Men are generally more outside,rational,and they pay more attention to interpersonal competing,so their language is more direct,often form a competitive relationship with the people around and have frequent conflicts.Secondly,there exists gender gap in language form,due to the long-term social division of labor,there are differences in the performance form,such as pronunciation,Chinese characters,vocabulary and grammar,etc,especially in the gender discrimination in Chinese characters and vocabulary.By the way,for men and women are playing different social roles,their habits and preferences on language use have a huge difference.This article selects four films directed by Feng xiaogang as material and will analyze the gender gap of language in Feng xiaogang's film.This paper is divided into six parts:the introduction part briefly related research results and the research status quo,research purpose and significance,research methods and categories defined,sort out papers;The first chapter specifically discusses gender differences in the form of the language,the Chinese vocabulary,sentences,rhetorical features are studied separately;Second chapter specific verbal behavior of gender differences,apologize the interposing act,apology act and speech strategies from the view of pragmatic research;In the third chapter,this article analyze the language gender discrimination in the material;The fourth chapter is to discuss the causes of language gender gap;The last part is conclusion,it summarizes the conclusion of study,and summarizes the deficiencies in this research.
